Job Description

As a Security Professional- Armed Patrol - Transport Officer in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with all individuals on site. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This role requires an armed designation and a commitment to putting people first while supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter, both on foot and by vehicle, as required.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and law enforcement personnel as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
• Remain alert to changing conditions and communicate any concerns or hazards to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an armed designation as required by the role.
• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred for this position.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
