Medical Billing Specialist

Salary: $40,000 – $47,000 (with potential to earn nearly $50K for an exceptional candidate for an exceptional candidate) + 3% 401(k) Contribution + Full Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and manage insurance claims, ensuring clean, timely submissions
• Investigate and resolve denied claims and aging A/R buckets
• Process payments, post remits, and reconcile patient accounts
• Coordinate appeal documentation and insurance follow-ups
• Communicate with carriers and prepare weekly billing reports

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on medical billing experience (not just A/R)
• Must be comfortable working fully onsite with reliable transportation
• Strong organizational skills and self-accountability are key — no micromanagement here
