**Overview** Kimley-Horn is looking for Software Engineering students to join our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position. **Responsibilities** + Support development of existing and emerging software products in Kimley-Horn's portfolio. + Work with team members and business partners to understand and design project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needs + Develop applications and creative solutions based on project requirements + Apply bug fixes and enhancements to existing solutions + Implement and support applications post deployment + Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply fixes to resolve issues + Understand and apply best practices; remain knowledgeable of trends in the software development industry **Qualifications** + In the process of obtaining an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters) in these majors: + Software Engineering + Computer Science + Systems Engineering + or related field of study Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle **Desired Qualifications:** Web development experience building complex applications with HTML5 & JavaScript framework, WPF Applications, or C# Services Experience with two of the following: ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS, MEAN stack, REST web services, C#/.NET, WPF Experience with AngularJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript/jQuery Please provide a link to your portfolio or examples of your work and skills. **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
