Pharmacy Technician Roanoke, VA | 13-Week Contract | Possible Temp-to-Hire
Were seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract role in Roanoke, VA , with potential for temp-to-hire . This position starts ASAP (1.52 weeks after offer) and offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule (8:30 AM 5:00 PM) .

Key Duties:
Process prescriptions and insurance claims; resolve rejections
Package, label, and prep medications for pharmacist verification
Data entry, inventory management, and handling prescription paperwork
Assist with shipping, returns, and medication quarantines
Support HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance compliance
Cross-train across departments as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
PTCB certification and VA pharmacy technician license (in good standing)
2+ years of pharmacy tech experience (call center background a plus)
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Team-oriented mindset and attention to detail
