What Your Role Will Encompass - Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and designing personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions collaboratively with physicians or working autonomously based on credentialing
- Equipping patients and their families with vital knowledge on prevention, wellness lifestyle, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapeutic interventions within the parameters of practice
- Engaging in patients' follow-up care and chronic disease management
- Working in concert with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth and comprehensive patient care
- Accurately documenting clinical findings within electronic health records (EHR)
Educational Prerequisites - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or applicable specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
