About the Role:

A growing organization in the logistics and supply chain space is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator with hands-on experience in third-party logistics (3PL) . This position plays a key role in managing freight movements, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth end-to-end logistics operations. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily transportation and logistics operations, including scheduling, tracking, and delivery coordination within a 3PL framework.
  • Collaborate with carriers, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure timely, cost-efficient shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records, and help coordinate warehouse distribution activities.
  • Assist in managing carrier contracts, rate negotiations, and vendor performance.
  • Leverage TMS and WMS tools to monitor and streamline logistics workflows.
  • Support compliance efforts related to shipping, documentation, and transportation regulations.
  • Identify process gaps and support the implementation of continuous improvements.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
  • Generate routine reports to track KPIs and highlight operational trends.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1–3+ years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain, specifically in a 3PL setting .
  • Familiarity with freight operations, warehousing, and transportation planning.
  • Proficiency in TMS, WMS, and related logistics tools/systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and vendor negotiation abilities.
  • Understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements is a plus.
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
