We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Banking Loan Operations Manager to lead and oversee all loan operational support functions within our bank. This role is critical in ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements across our operational teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage complex processes, develop staff, and collaborate across departments to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations for loan servicing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain procedures to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Continuously evaluate operations to identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of high performance.
• Provide guidance on processing issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
• Work closely with IT, Retail Operations, Compliance, and other departments to streamline and enhance operations.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Monitor data entry for accuracy and consistency with established protocols.
• Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution

• Act as the escalation point for operational and customer service issues.
• Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of complex problems.

Training & Development

• Lead training initiatives to keep staff informed of procedural, regulatory, and technology changes.
• Build a high-performing team by providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition.
• Promote best practices in data accuracy and service delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations or financial services
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or management role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of loan operations and banking processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in banking systems and software
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
