Primary responsibilities include daily research and support to a supervisory attorney, including maintaining and organizing the calendar, appealing property values, data entry, and preparing commercial property analyses. Candidates should be organized, motivated, self-starters, able to multitask, work well with others, have a strong work ethic, communicate with co-workers and clients by telephone, e-mail, and letter, and be professional in appearance and demeanor. This is an in-office position with the hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Duties may include but are not limited to: Providing daily support to the supervisor Heavy research Department billing Tracking appeal deadlines Appealing property values, which includes gathering and entering property values and tax rates into the database Preparing paperwork for appeal (i.e., form, cover letter, etc.) Coordinating hearings internally and working with various local officials to coordinate hearings all over the nation Reporting personal property tax values to various local governments, which includes filing the personal property rendition Managing our database of electronic client files Generating client reports as requested Answering and routing incoming phone calls Processing mail and incoming correspondence Appearance conscious Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Science or Business & Management preferred) - Candidates that do not currently hold a Bachelor's degree will not be considered for this position Two years of office experience Minimum Cumulative Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Desired Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Research Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Organized and detail-oriented Self-starter Strong interpersonal skills Financial or accounting background preferred.
