Job Title: HR Assistant

Work Location: Stow, MA 01775

Expected Duration: 08+ Months Contract

Description

• Perform personnel functions such as screen employment applications resumes to determine if a candidate meets position requirements match applicants to job postings and develop send and track correspondence to non-selected job applicants
• Screen the contents of hiring packets prior to development of employment offers to validate content is complete and accurate.
• Move hiring packets through the offer process in Mass Careers and the hiring process in HR/CMS.
• Respond to finalist inquiries.
• Establish personnel files for new employee’s process enrollment forms such as GIC Retirement and Union.
• Track or process various HR items as assigned such as training status reports performance review completion reports correspondence pay increases promotions and various quality control reports.
• Process HR and payroll transactions in HR/CMS a PeopleSoft human resources application.

Skills:

• Accurate, detail oriented with payroll processing or similar financial payment processing experience, Required3Years
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in handling confidential information, Required3Years
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal tactfully with others, Required3Years
• MS Excel including experience with pivot tables is desired, Desired3Years
• Have used an automated payroll or human resources application, such as PeopleSoft is desired, Desired3Years
