Position Title: Finisher

Wage: $22.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday); Optional Overtime - 5:00am - 1:30pm (Friday)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Finisher at a company in Commerce City, CO. This is a temporary position for 1st shift. Apply now!

What you will get to do:
- Use hand tools such as files, abrasive pads, etc. and smaller power tools such as Dremels, orbital sanders, etc. to finish and deburr parts
- Use solvents (IPA, Acetone, etc.) to clean parts
- Inspect, stage and package finished parts, while ensuring paperwork (traveler) stays with parts
- Monitor work area for safety hazards and report hazards to management
- Train on specific production equipment and machinery in a safe and productive manner
- Complete applicable quality and production reports hourly
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to company specifications and separate nonconforming products
- Report quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership
- Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by leadership
- Work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain a good flow of safety, quality and production information throughout the facility
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

What you bring to the team:
- One year to three years of similar or related experience
- Understanding of weights and measurements along with basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude and strong hand tool knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Able to pass company screening process
