Job Description Job Description Position Overview Elevated Electrical is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate electrical takeoffs, developing competitive bids, coordinating schedules, communicating with customers and contractors, and ensuring all permitting requirements are met. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in electrical estimating. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Takeoffs Perform detailed electrical takeoffs from plans, drawings, and specifications Analyze blueprints, project documents, and scope requirements Calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs Work closely with project managers and field teams to validate scope and pricing Bidding & Proposals Prepare and submit bids, estimates, and written proposals for residential, commercial, and light industrial projects Develop project cost breakdowns and value-engineered options Maintain an organized schedule of all bidding deadlines and bid submissions Follow up with clients and GCs regarding bid status Scheduling & Communications Coordinate project schedules, site visits, and inspections Communicate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams Answer phone calls, collect project information, and update CRM/job management software Maintain a professional and responsive customer experience Permits & Compliance Pull permits for electrical projects through local jurisdictions Ensure all documentation, drawings, and requirements are accurate and submitted on time Track permit status and coordinate inspections as needed Qualifications Experience performing electrical takeoffs (preferred) Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC, and construction processes Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Excellent phone, communication, and organizational skills Experience preparing bids, estimates, and proposals Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience pulling permits with local municipalities preferred Computer-savvy; experience with estimating or project management software is a plus Preferred Attributes Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and professional customer-focused approach Ability to collaborate with field staff and leadership Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company Paid time off and company holidays Company-provided training and development
