Responsibilities
This job is responsible for overseeing the management and daily operations of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) medical clinic in Bellevue, in accordance with overall business objectives, professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Work includes providing leadership and expertise in assessing, developing, and implementing initiatives and activities that improve financial performance and productivity, maximize effective utilization of resources, and enhance service satisfaction for all customer groups.
The incumbent serves as a key leadership resource to identify, analyze, and administer new projects, programs, and acquisitions, ensuring that program development, clinical quality, fiscal management, compliance, provider relationships, communication, and patient/staff satisfaction are optimized.
They direct activities through subordinate management staff, overseeing all aspects of clinic operations for the assigned region or medical specialty, including business plan development, financial management, strategic initiative implementation, resource utilization, productivity, access, patient experience, and market competitiveness.
Additional responsibilities include oversight of clinical strategic initiatives specific to the medical specialty across the group and advancing VMFH's mission, vision, and values by promoting understanding and commitment to corporate goals in healthcare delivery.
The role requires substantial knowledge of healthcare management principles to evaluate and support clinical effectiveness, service delivery, and organizational performance improvement. The incumbent must recognize opportunities in clinical outcomes, cost containment, patient safety, satisfaction, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.

$59.41 - $89.71 per hour
