Digital Media Intern (6-Month Internship)

Location: Remote (Toronto-based preferred)

Type: Internship (Unpaid, with stipend upon completion)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Digital Media Intern to join our growing team for a 6-month internship. This is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of content marketing, social media, and digital strategy at a fast-paced, collaborative startup. You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual and digital presence of our clients and our own brand.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and edit engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Assist with planning, shooting, and editing photo and video content
• Monitor social media trends and track engagement metrics
• Support marketing campaigns and content calendars
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings
• Collaborate with the team on creative projects and campaigns
• Provide community management support and help grow our audience

What We’re Looking For:

• A student or recent grad in marketing, communications, media, or a related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
• Experience with photography, videography, and basic editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• A creative thinker with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Bonus if you’ve got a portfolio or social media account showcasing your creative work
